Pastors: Dr Rod & Jeanette St Hill

‘Dr Rod’ aka The Business Pastor, is passionate about the local church and the place of business in the Kingdom of God. God answers our prayer, ‘Give us this day our daily bread’ through business. Rod is convinced that the local church and businesses are intended by God to partner in fulfilling the Great Commission. As well as leading IgniteLife Gold Coast with his wife, Jeanette, he heads IgniteLife Business and the Northern Gold Coast Chapter of Kingdom Initiatives. He is active in the global Business As Mission movement. He is a member of the World Evangelical Alliance’s Council for Business and Theology and is Emeritus Professor at Leaders Institute. Rod is a director of three Christian schools, a private for-profit company, and City Impact Ltd which builds government-church-business-charity coalitions to alleviate social problems in the city of Gold Coast.

Jeanette leads Prophetic Ministry and delights in seeing people flourish in relationship with God through Jesus Christ. She is a strong believer in the power of prayer and has faith for miracles. Nearly 20 years of experience in early childhood education underpins Jeanette’s leadership of Kids Church. Jeanette also leads IgniteLife Community which connects the church to the local community.

Rod and Jeanette married in Christchurch, NZ, in 1981. They have two married daughters and three granddaughters.
